Once upon a time not so long ago there was this website, then there was a professional, smart and trendy official website for the Things (www.10000things.tv) as well, but it ran out of money just a little while after Polydor (heard of them?), dropped the Things from their label. |

110404: The Things have finished recording their 1st album. It's due out in October 04. Their 1st release, the limited edition 2-track vynil version of Food Chain, got to no. 28 in the Radio 1 Top 40 Indie Singles chart. 100404: Will, Stobb, Davro, (with Owen or Floody on bass), play a storming mixed blues and Things'-set gig at The Primrose, Leeds. You weren't there? Well, The Living Things and Melissa Auf der Maur were!

What do you think? If most commercially available modern music is bad (and if it's neither good nor bad, it might easily be nothing-music), then there is a strong tendency for "the record-buying public", either in desperation or because they know no better, to mistakenly(?) decide that that which is not as bad as the rest, is good music.
