In recent months the JoG gig list has consistently been arriving at the web weaver's no earlier than day five. That's very late, too late, I suggest, and renders the gig guide nowhere near as useful as it should be.
Please feel free to pester the licensee, printers, etc., but f'now there will be no update until such time as new gig lists are made available very much sooner. If nothing improves then this page will swiftly and silently vanish away. Quite soon.
Oh, look, it already has done! NG 051004

"Jesus Christ! I mean Stevie Ray Vaughan is dead, and we can't get Jon Bon Jovi in a helicopter? Come on, folks!" "Get on that helicopter, John. Shut the f*ck up and get on that helicopter! There's a hair dresser in there. Yeah, go ahead, in there, yeah, yeah." Denis Leary. |
| Gig details generally arrive at the web-weaver only on 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th the month, and might change for any number of reasons. | If in doubt, or travelling a long way, phone 01524 65356 to check that the gig info is still correct. | IMPORTANT: Do try to put a serious amount of £££ into the nightly collection for the musicians. |

| How to minimise the risk of hearing damage: |
Take regular breaks from the dance floor at nightclubs. Wear earplugs if regularly going to clubs or concerts. Stand away from loudspeakers. Avoid playing personal stereos at loud volumes. Watch out for warning signs of hearing exhaustion - ringing or dull hearing. |

One return flight from the UK to Florida produces, per passenger as much CO2 as one year's driving by the average British motorist. So...., are you saying I should spend my annual holiday in The John o' Gaunt? Well, it's a very much greener solution AND The JoG is only 400m. from the railway station. |

Mr Gunn feels it may be necessary to point out that although 27 days after first publishing this web page he and his partner did each receive, free of charge, from the licensee a coffee with brandy in it, this is in no way to be considered a commercial web page. |
