EIRE II

That evening strolling a little way along the coastline we passed the modern Gold Coast Golf Resort and plumptious bungalows with concrete horses heads painted brown on top of their gateposts. There was little indication of planning restrictions anywhere in Eire.

I remember thinking that whatever the weather Ireland was just great!

On our second visit I remember noticing that on both visits, until we'd warmed it up, our bedding was always slightly damp!

Next morning the weather was picking up, as was the scenery, and we continued west and into Cork where I'd been looking forward to a stroll. It all looked so colourful, but the only clear parking we could find was in multi-storeys, into which our van would not fit.

Bantry Bay.

Next stop the USA......, that was part of the excitement, being so far out in the Atlantic.
