"I saw the 10,000 Things in Liverpool who were a bargain at £5.  Out of the three bands that played, my mate and me agreed that the Things were definitely the best. We both loved the banter between songs and the Two Monkeys in the Bath joke*. However, the amplification (probably purposely?) was a bit pushed in handling the songs so I couldn't make out the words too well."

"Afterwards, I had a good chat with Sam and AJ. Will Newman is definitely hell of a guitar player though I didn't get a chance for a chat with him (maybe, too many fans???).  Anyway, Sam gave me a free T-shirt (so many thanks!) and the rather nice Student Union publicity girl printed off a poster for me - both of which are now adorning a wall at home.  (So if you make any mugs, do let me know!)"
